PISCES II is a well equipped and safe sea going vessel fully licensed and approved by the Dept of Marine and M.C.A. to carry 11 passengers.
PISCES Charter is a family run business and is well established on both sides of Carlingford Lough.
Sea angling trips can be arranged for parties or individuals and all rods and tackle can be provided if required. Tuition will also be provided for the first timer ‘give it a go’ customer. Species such as mackerel, cod, pollock, ling amongst others can be caught but the prime species on the Lough is the fast, hard fighting tope which is a member of the shark family.
Angling trips can be tailored to suit the customer, should it be a long or short trip.
Sightseeing cruises are also provided on the Lough and the PISCES II is navigated close to the islands to view and photograph the seals and marine wildlife.
Cruises also include the Haulbowline Lighthouse as it stands proudly at the entrance to the Lough. Cruises and angling trips can be arranged for all occasions although hen and stag parties are very popular.
Skipper and owner of PISCES II is Peyon Cunningham, a commercial fisherman all his life with a vast knowledge of where to fish and what is likely to be caught.
Indeed it was with this in mind when SKY TV decided to bring Paul Young from ‘Hooked on Fishing’ and the camera crew for a trip on the Lough that Peyton was the man for the job. He certainly delivered the goods and a most successful and enjoyable days fishing was broadcast world wide.
Peyton is a keen angler and when he is not attending to the passengers he will slip a line over board and try for himself!
