The Glenmore Challenge Running Festival 2023. Come and join us on our 10th Anniversary of “The Glenmore Challenge”We promise it’ll be a real special occasion!!
To mark our 10th Year of “The Glenmore Challenge” we have introduced a distance for everyone!!
21K – 10 mile – 10k – 5k
The race is AAI permitted and Chipped timing for all runners.
The 5K run/walk will be open to participants of all abilities and will take place in what is arguably the most scenic stretch of the Cooley peninsula, from Tullagh Bridge to The Long Woman's Grave and back again. Where both runners and walkers can breathe in, fill their lungs and embrace the natural beauty and capture the outstanding views across Carlingford Lough to Warrenpoint and beyond.
Based in the beautiful Cooley Mountains in North Co Louth, this year's festival takes place on Saturday and Sunday, 1st and 2nd of June 2024 (the bank holiday weekend).
As always we look forward to welcoming walkers from near and far to our event.
